Working within the Digital and Emerging Technology team you will complete a 2-year immersive Graduate position where you will learn and develop the key skills to be successful within IT development. As part of the Digital Website Development team, you will work with senior developers to complete website upgrades and the development of new applications for the business. Digital & Emerging Technology leaders will focus on enhancing your leadership skills and providing opportunities for you based on your interests. Following completion of the program, the capabilities you’ll have developed will give you a great platform to continue your career in Digital. Depending on your aspirations, you might decide to pursue a first role as a Digital Developer. We will support you to explore all of the options available to you.

Responsibilities are varied; you will support the team to:
  • Collaborate with teams on various activities/projects to deliver business outcomes.
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
  • Contribute to creating relevant documentation such as user stories, test scripts, architectural design documents, user guides as relevant.
  • Actively participate in training opportunities (different modes such as self-learning and on the job).
  • Attends all graduate development programs and events.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to team success by working collaboratively with own team members; assisting team members when needed; sharing ideas, knowledge and experience; and seeking to learn from team members.
  • Enhancing organisational effectiveness through continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements:
  • You are currently studying for or have completed a suitable degree within 24 months of the program start date, in February 2023.
  • We are excited to consider candidates from all relatable degree backgrounds with strong coding experience and with preference to computer science, IT and Engineering degrees.
  • Ideally you will have experience with JavaScript (including jQuery, ReactJS, NodeJS), HTML, CSS.
  • Exposure to C# .NET, SQL and Python would be desirable.
  • You will have a creative and critical mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders with the utmost professionalism.
  • Due to the permanent nature of this role, we can only accept applications from Citizens or Permanent Residents of Australia or New Zealand.
